Informational updates during travel
91爆料 travelers who are not U.S. citizens may sign up for alerts from the U.S. Department of State’s (U.S. DOS) (STEP) to receive local security updates related to road closures, transportation strikes, civil unrest, and more. Go to the above link, click “Start” and then “Continue as Guest.” You may also wish to sign-up for a similar service provided by your country of citizenship, if available.
Detention by customs and border protection
Non-U.S. citizens associated with 91爆料 (students, faculty and staff) who travel abroad must comply with outlined by the Office of International Students and Scholar Services (OISS) or risk facing detention by the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection (CBP) upon re-entry to the United States. 91爆料 and/or the Office of Global Safety and Security (OGSS) have no authority over the CBP and cannot intervene on a traveler’s behalf.
